Short jackets end at the hip. The Chester men's quilted coat goes further – to mid-thigh. Those extra centimeters make a noticeable difference when icy wind blows up through your pant legs or you’re standing at the bus stop in the morning. The extended puffer shape wraps the entire torso including the kidneys and lower back – areas that are often left exposed by conventional winter jackets.

The matte black surface and the horizontal quilted chambers give the Chester a calm, masculine presence. No shine, no loud prints on the outside – instead a coat that communicates its quality through proportions and workmanship. The TP emblem on the chest and the TPDY logo straps on the zippers add targeted accents without breaking the clean overall line.

Handcraft you feel at minus ten degrees

The Chester’s thermal performance is based on a process machines can’t replicate. Each individual quilted chamber is manually filled with synthetic padding – evenly, without gaps, and without the voids that occur in industrial production. The result is insulation that remains consistent across the entire length of the coat. No area is thinner than another, no cold bridge interrupts the protection.

The permanently integrated hood with TPDY all-over print inside completes this protection zone at the top. The high stand-up collar seals the neck area, even when you don’t wear the hood. The water-repellent polyester surface forms the outer barrier against rain and wet snow. Together they create a layering system that insulates you from head to mid-thigh – without animal down, without compromise.

Show off the length the right way

A long coat changes proportions. The Chester looks best over slim-cut pants – a black slim-fit jean or tapered jogger pants create the necessary contrast to the voluminous surface. Long coat, easy care

Before washing, unclasp all three carabiners and close all zippers. Turn the coat inside out and wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with liquid detergent. Avoid fabric softener – it attacks the water-repellent layer. After washing, hang the Chester up (do not fold) and shake it out vigorously several times while it dries.
